This led her to Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, where she obtained her dental degree in 1995.

Dr. Wilson's thirst for knowledge and commitment to service took her to the corners of the country. Following her residency at Dade County Dental Research Clinic in Miami, she answered the call of duty as a dental officer with the United States Public Health Service. Transitioning to the United States Coast Guard, Dr. Wilson continued her pursuit of excellence, earning a Master of Public Health degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School while serving at ISC Portsmouth, Virginia. Her outstanding contributions were recognized with the Commandant's Award of Excellence, a testament to her unwavering commitment to duty.
